About the role#
Boeing is seeking motivated students for the Summer 2027 Facilities Engineering internship program. This 10-12 week paid experience provides hands-on exposure to aerospace infrastructure, maintenance, and project management. You will work within the Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team, which oversees building maintenance, infrastructure planning, and construction services across Boeing business units.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with a mentor in your field of study to solve real-world engineering problems.
- Develop engineering designs based on customer requirements, building codes, and regulations.
- Plan, manage, and execute infrastructure and capital improvement projects.
- Tour state-of-the-art manufacturing and research facilities to see products up close.
- Interact with company leaders to discuss strategy and the future of the aerospace industry.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027.
- Major in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or Data Science.
- Ability to work full-time for the 10-12 week program duration during Summer 2027.
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Must meet Export Control compliance requirements as a US Person.
