About the role#
The Boeing Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team manages infrastructure and construction projects across the company. As an intern, you will work directly with a mentor to solve real-world engineering problems. This program provides exposure to Boeing operations through facility tours and direct interaction with company leadership to discuss strategy and the future of the industry.
What you'll do#
- Develop engineering designs that align with customer requirements, building codes, and regulations.
- Plan, manage, and execute facilities construction and maintenance projects.
- Provide engineering support for short-term and long-term infrastructure planning.
- Translate customer requirements into feasible options regarding scope, resources, and cost.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to complete construction and maintenance activities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027.
- Current major in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or Data Science.
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027.
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Status as a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 (US citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
