About the role#
Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking students and recent graduates of certified Boeing Pre-Employment Training (BPET) programs to join the Fabrication team as an Interiors Fabricator and Assembler Mech C. In this role, you will contribute to the production of aircraft interior components while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
What you'll do#
- Fabricate and assemble aircraft interior panels and assemblies using established processes.
- Work with materials including adhesives, resins, honeycomb core, carpet fiberglass, and aluminum, including cutting and layout tasks.
- Install fittings such as latches, hinges, and brackets, and prepare panels for adhesive application through sweeping, sanding, and cleaning.
- Operate vacuum platen tables, load and unload ovens for bonding operations, and maintain necessary production records.
- Utilize shop power tools including routers, table saws, band saws, and drill presses.
- Perform routing, drilling, and riveting tasks, as well as wire routing on prefabricated bundles.
- Work from drawings, specifications, and verbal instructions, performing visual checks and in-process rework as required.
What you'll need#
- Completion of a certified Boeing Pre-Employment Training (BPET) course (academic or military).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds frequently during an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including reaching, handling, turning, twisting, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
- Ability to work in environments with potential exposure to metals, solvents, and coolants, as well as varying noise levels.
- Must be a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62.

- Location: Everett, Washington.
- Modality: 100% on-site.
- Employment: Full-time, hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinists (IAM-751) collective bargaining agreement.
- Shift: This position requires availability for a variety of shifts.
