About the role#
The Methods Process Analyst internship is a 10-12 week full-time program designed for students to gain hands-on experience within the Boeing Production System. Interns work in small teams of 5-10 people, guided by a mentor and team lead, to solve real-world problems while improving safety, quality, cost, and flow. This role requires time split between office environments and active production areas, such as factories or flightlines.
What you'll do#
- Support a production team or organization directly integrated with the Boeing Production System.
- Collaborate with a mentor to identify and implement solutions to operational challenges.
- Analyze performance metrics against daily schedules and orders.
- Identify and reduce safety and ergonomic issues.
- Create and maintain operational plans, including flow and positioning, scenario planning, and disruption recovery strategies.
- Participate in milestone check-ins to track project progress and management skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027.
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027.
- Strong academic performance with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Previous internship, work experience, or involvement in student and civic organizations.
- Majors considered include Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Management, and Aerospace Engineering.
- Demonstrated passion for the aerospace industry and interest in a career with Boeing.
- Must meet Export Control compliance requirements as a US Person.
