About the role#
As a Methods Process Analyst intern, you will support a production team or organization directly integrated with the Boeing Production System. You will work within a small team to find solutions to real world problems, reduce risks, and improve safety, quality, cost, and flow. Your time will be split between an office environment and the factory floor or flightline, where you will be required to adhere to safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment.
What you'll do#
- Support production teams by analyzing performance to daily schedules or orders.
- Reduce or eliminate safety and ergonomic issues.
- Improve quality defect trends and reduce non-value added work.
- Create and maintain operating plans, including flows and positioning.
- Develop scenario plans and assess readiness to execute production tasks.
- Build disruption recovery plans to mitigate impacts to downstream work and major milestones.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or Computer Science.
- Strong academic performance with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Previous internship or work experience, or involvement with student or civic organizations.
- A passion for the aerospace industry.
- Ability to relocate and work on-site for the duration of the 10-12 week internship.
- Must meet Export Control compliance requirements as a US Person.
