About the role#
As a Methods Process Analyst intern, you will join a small team of 5-10 people, including a team lead, to support production operations integrated with the Boeing Production System. This role involves balancing time between an office environment and the factory floor or flightline. You will work on projects aimed at reducing risk and improving safety, quality, cost, and flow. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support a production team or organization directly integrated with the Boeing Production System.
- Reduce or eliminate safety and ergonomic issues.
- Improve quality defect trends and analyze performance against daily schedules or orders.
- Create and maintain operating plans, including developing scenario plans.
- Build disruption recovery plans to mitigate impacts to downstream work and major milestones.
- Reduce non-value added work.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a student at a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027.
- Strong academic performance with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Previous internship or work experience, or involvement with student or civic organizations.
- A passion for the aerospace industry.
- Ability to relocate and work on-site.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or Computer Science.
