About the role#
This paid internship program offers students the opportunity to contribute to product quality assurance and supplier performance management. Interns will work across production, engineering, and supply chain teams to support the development and maintenance of robust quality conformance systems. The program emphasizes hands-on experience in quality risk assessment, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives within the aerospace industry.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support product quality assurance throughout design and manufacturing systems.
- Implement quality principles, processes, and metrics to reduce defects and drive customer satisfaction.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action, and statistical process control.
- Partner with Supplier Quality and Supply Chain teams to ensure suppliers meet quality requirements.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing sampling plans and First Article Inspections to verify supplier product conformance.
- Support quality readiness assessments, design risk analysis, and verification planning.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027.
- Availability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Status as a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to meet Export Control compliance requirements.
- A passion for the aerospace industry and an eagerness to contribute to the company mission.
- Pursuing a degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, Computer, or Chemical Engineering, or Data Science, or Mathematics.
