About the role#
Boeing is seeking motivated students for the Summer 2027 Quality Engineering Internship. This program provides hands-on experience in quality risk assessment, data analysis, and continuous improvement within aerospace manufacturing. Interns will work with cross-functional teams to uphold rigorous quality standards and ensure the delivery of safe, reliable products.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate across production and engineering teams to support product quality assurance throughout design and manufacturing systems.
- Implement quality principles, processes, and metrics to reduce defects and drive customer satisfaction.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and statistical process control.
- Partner with Supplier Quality and Supply Chain teams to ensure suppliers meet Boeing quality requirements.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing sampling plans and First Article Inspections to verify supplier product conformance.
- Support design risk analysis and quality readiness assessments through data analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027.
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027.
- Status as a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to meet Export Control compliance requirements.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Pursuing a degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or Chemical Engineering.
- A passion for the aerospace industry and an eagerness to contribute to the mission of Boeing.

- This is a paid, full-time, 10-12 week internship.
