About the role#
The Boeing Global Trainee Engineering Internship is a summer 2027 program for university students. You will work under the guidance of a supervisor and mentor to gain hands-on experience in your field of study. This role is observational at first and focuses on learning how engineering and scientific methods apply to real-world products and services. You will work on-site at one of our Washington locations.
What you'll do#
- Perform elementary engineering tasks using established tools and methods.
- Define and characterize the behavior of products, processes, and services.
- Apply your skills in planning, organizing, troubleshooting, and decision-making.
- Gain insight into general business operations.
- Use creativity and innovation to complete your assignments.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members at all levels.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least a 2nd year university student enrolled in a full-time engineering degree program. Eligible majors include Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, and Aerospace Engineering.
- You must be selected to apply for this specific program.
- Proficiency in English reading and writing is required.
- We look for high academic achievement and demonstrated leadership attributes.
- Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for effective team interaction.

- Locations: Everett, Seattle, and Renton, Washington.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, 100% on-site position.
