About the role#
As a Continuous Improvement Intern, you will work with internal teams to solve business challenges and improve organizational performance. This role provides hands-on experience in the health insurance industry while you gain a practical understanding of how our business functions, including our products, data, and organizational structure. You will assist management in identifying business problems and implementing solutions to increase overall efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Research and prepare materials to identify business problems and offer recommendations.
- Support leaders on projects aimed at improving organizational effectiveness.
- Analyze business goals, objectives, and needs.
- Participate in department meetings and team-building events to ensure alignment.
- Connect with company leaders and fellow interns through networking events.
- Take part in volunteer activities and community outreach to better understand our customers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD program.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Economics.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and maintain confidential information.
