About the role#
This is a pipeline requisition for students competing in the 2026 Central Michigan University ERPsim Competition. The internship program provides hands-on experience and insight into the health insurance industry. You will work on projects, learn new skills, and network with employees across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Research business problems and help management implement solutions.
- Support projects that improve organizational efficiency.
- Analyze business goals, objectives, and internal needs.
- Build your understanding of BCBSM products, data, and organizational structure.
- Participate in department meetings, networking events, and community outreach activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate, graduate, Master's, or PhD program.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites and internal systems.
- Commitment to maintaining confidential information.
- Ability to build and maintain professional working relationships.

- Location: Detroit, Michigan.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role follows a rolling term schedule.
