About the role#
The Public Policy internship at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan provides hands-on work experience in the health insurance industry. You will work on projects that contribute to the organization and build a foundation for your future career. This is a full-time, paid summer program for 2027.
What you'll do#
- Research business problems and help draft recommendations for management.

What you'll need#
- You must be a current undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD student with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
- You need to remain enrolled in a degree program for the duration of the internship.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple priorities.
- You should be able to work both independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- You must maintain high standards for handling confidential information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for building working relationships.
