About the role#
The Facilities Management Administration internship at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan provides hands-on work experience within the health insurance industry. What you'll do#
- Research business problems and help prepare information materials.
- Suggest recommendations and assist management with implementing solutions.
- Support leaders on projects that improve organizational efficiency.
- Analyze business goals, objectives, and needs.
- Build your understanding of our business, products, programs, data, and organizational structure.
- Attend department meetings, networking events, and community volunteer activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate, graduate, Master’s, or PhD program.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites and internal systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Preference is given to Business Administration students with a minor in Information Systems Technology.

- This is an on-site position located in Detroit, Michigan.
