About the role#
This summer internship provides engineering students with hands-on experience within our Engineering and Development Services group. You will work on water treatment projects while gaining exposure to project scopes, budgets, and schedules. The role includes mentorship, training, and networking opportunities with experienced engineering professionals and company executives.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering tasks under close supervision.
- Help prepare engineering deliverables like Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), specifications, and schedules.
- Participate in internal project review and coordination meetings.
- Coordinate with your project team by sharing design decisions and information.
- Gain familiarity with design guides, industry standards, and company policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET accredited engineering program.
- Pursuit of a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- High motivation, initiative, and attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills.
