About the role#
This summer internship provides an opportunity to work within our Engineering and Development Services group. You will gain practical experience in the water sector while working alongside engineering professionals and executives. This is a full-time, paid position designed to introduce you to our internal systems, design standards, and project workflows.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering tasks under close supervision.
- Learn to use department design guides, codes, and company procedures.
- Assist in preparing engineering deliverables, including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), specifications, and schedules.
- Participate in project review and coordination meetings.
- Coordinate with the project team by sharing information and design decisions.
- Gain exposure to project scope, budget, and schedule management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited engineering program.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- High motivation and the ability to take initiative.
- Attention to detail and solid computer skills.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This position is on-site and full-time.
- Compensation: The hourly rate for this role is $18.75 to $25.00.
