About the role#
This summer internship offers engineering students the chance to work within our Engineering and Development Services group. You will gain practical experience on projects across sectors like power generation, water treatment, renewables, and security. You will work in a professional environment, network with experts, and learn how our teams deliver projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering tasks under close supervision.
- Learn department design guides, standards, systems, and applicable engineering codes.
- Assist in preparing engineering deliverables, including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), schedules, and specifications.
- Gain exposure to project scope, schedules, and budgets.
- Participate in internal project reviews and coordination meetings.
- Share information and design decisions with your project team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited engineering program.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail and computer proficiency.
- Initiative and a self-starting attitude.
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.
- No prior experience is required.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
