About the role#
Biogen is seeking a video production and digital content co-op to join the Corporate Affairs department. This is a 6-month, full-time role running from January through June 2027. You will work with the Brand and Storytelling team to produce visual content, organize digital assets, and support internal and external communications.
What you'll do#
- Shoot, edit, and produce video and photography for various channels.
- Manage digital assets and help organize the company library.
- Update and manage content for the corporate intranet and external web pages.
- Assist in the creation of social media graphics and content.
- Help manage the video studio, including equipment setup.
- Brainstorm creative concepts for video projects.
- Draft communications materials, including stories, newsletters, handouts, and brand collateral.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student who has completed at least two years of a program in Marketing, Communications, Film, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
- Experience with Canva.
- Practical experience using video cameras and lighting equipment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify story potential and develop video assets independently.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
- The position is paid at a rate of $23.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on academic level and degree candidacy.
- Benefits include company-paid holidays, commuter benefits, employee resource group participation, and 80 hours of sick time per calendar year.
