About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience with the Public Affairs Digital & Omnichannel team. You will support initiatives that advance the company mission through social media strategy, content creation, and digital storytelling. You will participate in professional development, leadership presentations, and networking activities throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Develop and execute social media and digital communications initiatives.
- Create digital content including graphics, short-form videos, and infographics for internal and external audiences.
- Assist with content planning, editorial calendars, and campaign development.
- Support graphic design projects while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Monitor social media trends and emerging digital platforms to identify engagement opportunities.
- Conduct research on digital communications performance and competitor activity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support storytelling efforts.
- Organize and maintain digital asset libraries and creative resources.
- Compile performance metrics and help develop actionable insights.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and creative workshops.
- Deliver a final presentation of your work at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in a Bachelor’s program, with continued enrollment in the Fall semester.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Strong written and visual storytelling skills.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Foster City, California.
- Term: 10-12 consecutive weeks between May and August 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (on-site work required).
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
