About the role#
The Corporate Credit Intern supports the Credit and Finance team in evaluating customer creditworthiness and managing receivables. You will gain hands-on experience in financial statement review and risk assessment while helping to safeguard company assets.
What you'll do#
- Review and analyze customer credit applications and financial statements.
- Research current and prospective customers to assess credit risk.
- Monitor customer accounts for payment activity, aging reports, and credit limit adherence.
- Partner with collections and sales teams to resolve account issues.
- Contribute to projects that improve credit processes, systems, and reporting.
What you'll need#
- Working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, paid internship located in Fort Worth, Texas.
- The term runs for 11 weeks during Summer 2027, from May 17 to July 30.
- Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
