About the role#
The ASPIRE Internship is an 11-week, paid, full-time program based in Gainesville, Florida. It offers a rotational experience designed to show you how a large-scale food distributor operates. You will gain a comprehensive view of the U.S. food supply chain while working on-site at our facility. Please note that you are responsible for your own housing and transportation for the duration of the program.
What you'll do#
You will rotate through several departments to learn the core functions of our business, including Administration, Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Purchasing. Throughout these rotations, you will:
- Complete small projects within each department.
- Collaborate with other interns on a group project.
- Present your group project findings to senior leadership at the end of the summer.
- Develop a practical understanding of how food moves from sourcing to delivery.
What you'll need#
We are looking for students who are graduating between May 2027 and May 2028. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. We accept applications from students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Management, Finance, Economics, Animal Sciences, Meat Sciences, Technology, or related fields. Please include a resume with your application. Note that relatives of current Ben E. Keith employees are not eligible to apply.
