About the role#
The ASPIRE Internship is a paid, 11-week rotational program designed to provide exposure to the operations of a food distribution company. You will work 40 hours per week during the summer of 2027. Please note that relatives of current Ben E. Keith employees are not eligible to apply. You are responsible for your own housing and transportation for the duration of the program.
What you'll do#
You will rotate through several departments to gain a broad understanding of the business. You will complete small projects in each area and work with other interns on a group project that ends with a presentation to senior leadership. Key areas of focus include:
- Administration, including Credit, Accounting, and HR
- Sales
- Operations
- Logistics
- Purchasing
What you'll need#
- Graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Management, Finance, Economics, Animal Sciences, Meat Sciences, Technology, or a related field
