Tax Intern, Transfer Pricing - Summer 2027

About the role#

The Tax Intern, Transfer Pricing works with a team of consulting economists to assist multi-national companies in correctly pricing transactions between entities within their corporate groups. You will examine economic conditions and industry trends, evaluate intercompany transactions, and consult with clients to substantiate prices charged between related parties to ensure compliance with foreign and domestic tax regulations.

What you'll do#

• Conduct client interviews to gather information on corporate structure, functional responsibilities, risk distribution, and value drivers.
• Analyze industry and financial data to benchmark or document appropriate intercompany pricing policies.
• Perform financial analysis, including evaluations of market penetration and intangible property value.
• Prepare project reports that include research, quantitative analysis, and final results to document tax compliance.
• Write industry overviews, functional analyses, and technical memos describing the analytical process.
• Prepare and participate in client presentations to communicate results, recommendations, and service capabilities.
• Take detailed interview notes and proofread reports prior to client delivery.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Economics, or a relevant field.
• Exceptional research and writing skills, with the ability to proof and edit highly technical material.
• Strong analytical skills and a basic understanding of transfer pricing with a desire to learn more.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
