About the role#
The Tax Intern for International Tax Services will work alongside experienced team members to assist with cross-border tax matters. You will gain exposure to tax consulting, research, and compliance processes while developing an understanding of international tax law and its application to client operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with developing and implementing advice on international tax issues.
- Coordinate with global colleagues to understand how US tax rules align with foreign tax law.
- Identify research needs and prepare Written Tax Advice for international and cross-border transactions.
- Gather client information to prepare international tax compliance forms and informational reporting.
- Use tax research databases such as RIA, BNA, and Lexis Nexis.
- Gain exposure to tax compliance software and develop a basic understanding of ASC 740-10.
- Monitor tax law developments and client factual changes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting, Taxation, or a Master of Laws (LLM) degree.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and follow directions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is preferred.
- Experience with RIA, BNA, Lexis Nexis, or Westlaw is preferred.
- Leadership experience, a J.D., or progress toward a CPA license are preferred.

- The position is on-site for the Summer 2027 term.
