About the role#
The International Tax Services Summer 2027 internship provides an opportunity to support consulting efforts on cross-border tax matters. You will work under the guidance of experienced team members to perform tax research, analyze international tax issues, and assist with reporting obligations for international operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with developing, recommending, and implementing critical thinking to provide clients with tax advice on international tax issues.
- Gain exposure to the development of work plans for assigned clients.
- Learn about international tax law relevant to specific clients and how it applies to their unique factual situations.
- Assist in obtaining client information required for the preparation of international tax compliance forms and US international informational reporting.
- Utilize tax research databases, including RIA, BNA, and Lexis Nexis, to support tax consulting and compliance tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting, Taxation, or a Master of Laws (LLM) degree program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is preferred.
- Experience utilizing tax research tools such as RIA, BNA, Lexis Nexis, or Westlaw is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
