About the role#
As a Tax Intern in the Business Incentives Group, you will gain hands-on experience by helping companies identify and claim government incentives. This role focuses on programs like the Research and Development Tax Credit that support innovation and economic growth. You will work with clients across various industries, including technology, manufacturing, and life sciences, while collaborating with professionals in tax, accounting, and finance.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the execution of multiple client engagements.
- Collaborate with other Business Incentives Group professionals on business strategies and processes.
- Establish effective working relationships with team members and other firm employees.
- Conduct business development research to identify opportunities for new and existing clients.
- Develop your technical knowledge and contribute to the growth of the practice.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program, with a preference for majors in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or Communications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct basic research.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a professional environment.
