About the role#
As an Assurance Intern, you will work within our audit practice to gain hands-on experience. You will support our team by assisting with problem solving and fact-finding for various client engagements. This role offers an opportunity to learn our firm's methodology while working alongside experienced professionals who provide coaching and guidance.
What you'll do#
- Participate in a structured on-the-job training program to learn GAAP and GAAS.
- Prepare and document work in working papers using firm-specific tools and templates.
- Communicate with clients, creditors, banks, and other related parties regarding audit issues.
- Complete one assigned accounting or audit-related research project and present your findings to a panel of professionals.
- Support audit staff during engagement tasks and contribute ideas to your team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting.
- Active pursuit of school credits to become a CPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and follow instructions.
