About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within our Assurance practice. You will work alongside experienced team members to solve problems and gather facts. This role focuses on building a foundation for your career through direct engagement with our client base and internal teams.
What you'll do#
- Participate in a structured on-the-job training program.
- Build familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, and firm-specific audit methodology.
- Provide support to audit staff during engagements.
- Communicate with client contacts including customers, creditors, and banks regarding audit issues.
- Prepare and document work in working papers using firm tools and templates.
- Contribute ideas to audit teams.
- Complete an assigned accounting or audit research project and present your findings to a panel of Assurance professionals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting.
- Active pursuit of school credits to become a CPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- A Masters degree in Accounting and leadership experience are preferred.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
