About the role#
As an Advisory Intern in the Risk and Resilience practice, you will support the design and operationalization of risk programs. You will work alongside experienced team members to gain exposure to client delivery, research, and documentation. This role focuses on helping clients navigate complex risk environments including enterprise, operational, and third-party risk, as well as business continuity and crisis management.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing client solutions such as risk analytic frameworks, policies, and training materials.
- Participate in fact finding by reviewing client documentation and discussing needs with client contacts.
- Support requirements gathering for disaster recovery, crisis management, and enterprise risk programs.
- Prepare and tailor PowerPoint presentations, reports, and workshop materials.
- Track work progress and keep engagement teams informed of status, open items, and potential issues.
- Document key discussion points and conclusions during client workshops and internal sessions.
- Compile program metrics and perform basic research using documented procedures.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Risk Management.
- A strong interest in insurance management, risk management, corporate crisis management, crisis communications, or business continuity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and follow instructions as directed.
- Strong analytical and research skills for organizing information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is preferred.
- Experience with artificial intelligence tools is preferred.
- Prior professional client service experience is preferred.
