    About the role#

    The Metro Atlanta Community Fellow is an early-career position focused on nonprofit management. You will work alongside leadership to support the planning, execution, and improvement of programs. This role provides exposure to the full scope of nonprofit operations, from direct member engagement to data analysis and fundraising. You will receive mentorship and professional development while contributing to the growth of ESP Metro Atlanta.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the planning, preparation, execution, and evaluation of programs.
    • Manage logistics including scheduling, supplies, communication, staffing, volunteer coordination, and site set-up.
    • Collect and organize data on program participation, engagement, and outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
    • Assist with marketing and communications, including content creation for newsletters and social media.
    • Support fundraising initiatives, donor communications, and event planning.
    • Build and maintain relationships with families, volunteers, community partners, schools, and local businesses.

    What you'll need#

    • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional or volunteer experience.
    • Demonstrated interest in nonprofit work, community engagement, education, or disability services.
    • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
    • Ability to lift and carry at least 20 pounds and participate in active program environments.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, on-site position based in Marietta, Georgia.
    • The role requires travel throughout the Metro Atlanta community for approximately 50% of the work time.
    • You must be available for a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings and weekends.
    • This position is paid and includes eligibility for the company benefits package.
