About the role#
This is a paid internship program through Stand Together Fellowships. You will work with the Tax Foundation to research and analyze federal tax policy. This role involves supporting economic modeling and evaluating how proposed tax changes impact revenue and distribution.
What you'll do#
- Research current debates in federal tax policy.
- Support modeling efforts for economic and revenue scoring.
- Analyze the distributional effects of proposed tax changes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or master's program.
- Academic background in economics, political science, or public policy.
- Strong data analysis and communication skills.
- Interest in federal tax policy and alignment with the Tax Foundation mission.
- Previous work experience in public policy is preferred.
- Familiarity with Python is preferred.
