About the role#
BDO USA is hiring an Advisory Intern for our People Strategy & Solutions team. This role focuses on visual communications within management consulting. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support client engagements, helping them improve business performance and technology operations. This is a full-time, paid summer internship for 2027.
What you'll do#
- Design visual deliverables that communicate consulting recommendations according to client branding guidelines.
- Create presentation materials, visual assets, and graphics for internal and client meetings.
- Draft reports and documentation using client templates.
- Research industry trends, best practices in design, and user experience considerations.
- Document project requirements and business processes.
- Assist with various stages of consulting engagements from planning to project close.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, preferably in Business Administration, Graphic Design, Communications, or Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
- Proven experience in digital graphic design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Analytical skills and the ability to work well in a team or independently.
- Experience with project delivery or leadership is a plus.
Location & details#
- This internship is based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- The role is on-site.
- You must be able to travel 20% to 50% of your schedule.
