About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring Co-op or Intern students for our Financial Reporting & Insights team. This role is based in our Oakville and Markham offices for the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms. You will gain hands-on experience with compilation, review, and tax engagements while working toward your accounting degree.
What you'll do#
- Prepare financial statements for compilation and review engagements.
- Build working files for income tax and information returns for clients of various sizes.
- Prepare T1 personal, T3 trust, and T2 corporate income tax returns.
- Contribute to tax compliance projects and other regulatory assignments.
- Maintain positive working relationships with clients by responding to requests and suggestions.
- Perform ongoing accounting analysis following established procedures.
- Communicate progress updates and project issues to team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting degree program.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A commitment to teamwork and high-quality client service.
- Experience with software such as Quickbooks, Xero, or Sage is an asset.

- Compensation: $50,000 to $57,000.
