About the role#
We are hiring a Finance Intern to support our corporate accounting team. This is a paid position that offers flexible work arrangements, including remote and hybrid options. You will work approximately 15 hours per week during the school year, with the potential for increased hours during the summer.
What you'll do#
- Process invoices in our accounting system to ensure vendors receive payment on time.
- Help gather support and process monthly corporate credit card statements.
- Assist with bank reconciliations by comparing bank statements, general ledgers, and cash sheets.
- Support the corporate accounting team with year-end tax filings and financial statement audits.
- Maintain our filing system for processed payments to ensure proper documentation.
- Work with the corporate accounting team to assist with month-end financial reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Accounting or Finance degree program.
- Ability to work about 15 hours per week during the school year.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- Professional and positive communication skills.
- A self-motivated approach and the ability to work well within a team.
