About the role#
The Procurement Internship Program at BD aims to build our future leadership base by recruiting students for a summer program. You will gain exposure to multiple functions and business units while working on projects that support our global procurement operations. At the end of the program, you will present your accomplishments to the Global Purchasing Leadership Team.
What you'll do#
- Perform spend analysis and project management tasks.
- Support corporate and category initiatives.
- Assist with RFI activities and supplier management.
- Work on risk mitigation strategies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Major in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skills in leadership, teamwork, negotiation, and quantitative analysis.
- Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and manage time effectively.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without restriction. We do not provide visa sponsorship.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site at our Global Corporate Headquarters in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.
- The program begins on Monday, June 7, 2027.
