About the role#
The Biosurgery Platform drives global expansion and strategic growth for the BD Biosurgery portfolio, which improves surgical outcomes and patient care. This internship offers hands-on experience in healthcare marketing within a global medical technology company. You will work alongside U.S. and Global Marketing teams to support campaign development and product launches. This role involves collaboration with regulatory, medical affairs, and commercial teams.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate marketing content development and approval processes by partnering with cross-functional teams to facilitate claims review and compliance documentation.
- Contribute to product launches and commercialization by supporting launch planning, training materials, sales enablement tools, and project coordination.
- Conduct market research and competitive intelligence analysis to identify industry trends and customer insights, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Develop business insights and executive presentations by analyzing marketing and sales data to create reports and dashboards.
- Support portfolio management and branding initiatives, including product messaging and the maintenance of marketing assets.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, or Health Administration.
- A clear interest in marketing or the healthcare sector.
- Strong personal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage several projects simultaneously.
Location & details#
- Locations: Warwick, Rhode Island and Vernon Hills, Illinois.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time (up to 20 hours per week) during the academic year and full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer.
- Duration: 12-month commitment.
- Compensation: Paid position.
