About the role#
This position supports the daily operations of the cleanroom at the Baylor Research and Innovation Collaborative. You will help maintain lab spaces, manage inventory, and assist with equipment oversight. This is a part-time role requiring 10 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Clean surfaces and floors while organizing supplies and glassware.
- Refill chemical bottles and retrieve materials from the BSB Chemical stockroom.
- Train students on the use of research instruments and ensure all equipment is used properly.
- Manage confidential information and maintain accurate records of maintenance or inventory.
- Coordinate equipment repairs and assist with facility sanitation tasks.
- Ensure all safety procedures and laboratory policies are followed at all times.
- Partner with facilities staff to support venue equipment setup and troubleshooting.

- High attention to detail and ability to manage your time effectively.
- Ability to comply with all University and laboratory safety policies.
- Reliable transportation between the main campus and the BRIC.
