About the role#
This position supports the daily operations at Spring Lake Farm. You will balance time between office tasks and outdoor work, assisting with farm fundraising events and community service partnerships. We need someone who is self-directed and comfortable working independently without constant supervision.
What you'll do#
- Handle general administrative duties and run office errands.
- Create social media content and design graphics using Canva.
- Provide customer service and assist with retail or point of sale tasks.
- Help clean and organize farm facilities.
- Assist in planning farm fundraising events.
- Work outdoors in the field and interact with livestock.
- Collaborate with external community service partners.
What you'll need#
- Strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and good communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized and multitask in a flexible environment.
- Experience with social media content creation and Canva design.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Valid driver license and a clean driving record.
- Comfort working in outdoor conditions and with livestock.
- Previous office or non-profit experience is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Modality: On-site at Spring Lake Farm.
- Schedule: 8 to 20 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, with potential for Saturday shifts.
- Compensation: $12.00 per hour.
