About the role#
We are looking for a Water/Wastewater Engineer Intern to support our environmental and construction teams. This internship provides direct experience with the design and construction of various infrastructure facilities. You will work alongside senior engineers on projects for our clients, gaining a broad background in civil engineering.
What you'll do#
- Assist senior engineers with the evaluation, study, and design of potable water distribution systems, wastewater collection pipelines, and pumping stations.
- Help design water and wastewater treatment plants and drainage systems.
- Conduct field work and studies related to water system rehabilitation.
- Perform field work for stormwater system management and the installation of water mains and sanitary sewers.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a 4-year degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Environmental Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Availability to start in May or June 2027.
- Ability to travel throughout the Chicago area using your own transportation.
- Strong organizational, computer, written, and verbal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Compensation: $23.00 per hour.
