About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for a Nurse Intern II in the Neuro ICU. You will work on-site in Memphis, Tennessee. The role is designed for nursing graduates who are currently awaiting licensure.
What you'll do#
Under the direction of a registered nurse, you will support patient care and help achieve quality outcomes. Your duties include:
- Assessing patients and contributing to their care plans.
- Implementing and evaluating care plans.
- Providing direct patient care and assisting nursing staff.
- Participating in activities to improve health care delivery.
- Building your clinical leadership knowledge and completing assigned goals.
What you'll need#
- You must be a graduate of a registered nursing program and currently awaiting licensure.
- You must maintain this job category for no longer than 90 days from your graduation date.
- Computer literacy is required.
- You must obtain BLS certification within 14 days of your hire date.
