About the role#
The Intern-Nurse II for 3 West-Medical Surgical provides technical assistance to a defined group of patients to achieve quality outcomes. This role involves working under the direction of a registered nurse to support patient care, staff communication, and clinical operations. This is a full-time, paid internship position.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Provide direct patient care and general assistance to the nursing staff.
- Participate in activities designed to improve health care delivery and clinical leadership.
- Engage in ongoing educational activities and complete assigned professional goals.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from a registered nursing program while awaiting licensure.
- Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of the hire date.
- Computer literacy.
- Note that the Nurse Intern II category is limited to a maximum of 90 days following graduation.
