About the role#
As an Intern-Nurse II on the 3 South Med Surg unit, you provide technical assistance to a defined group of patients. You work under the direction of a registered nurse to help achieve quality patient outcomes. This role involves supporting staff, patients, and guests through service functions and clear communication.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients while working under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Help develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care.
- Provide direct patient care and assist nursing staff with daily tasks.
- Participate in activities to improve health care delivery.
- Build your clinical leadership knowledge.
- Complete assigned goals and take part in ongoing educational activities.
What you'll need#
- You must be a graduate of a registered nursing program and currently awaiting licensure. You may remain in this intern category for no longer than 90 days following graduation.
- Basic computer literacy.
- BLS certification, which you must obtain within 14 days of your hire date.

- Location: Memphis, Tennessee.
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
