About the role#
As an Intern-Nurse II on the Med/Surg unit, you provide technical assistance to support patient care outcomes. You work under the direction of a registered nurse to assist staff, patients, and guests while building your clinical knowledge.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients and contribute to their care plans.
- Implement and evaluate care plans as directed by a registered nurse.
- Provide direct patient care and support nursing staff with daily tasks.
- Participate in activities to improve health care delivery and complete assigned goals.
- Engage in ongoing educational activities to build your clinical leadership skills.
What you'll need#
- You must be a graduate of a registered nursing program and currently awaiting licensure.
- Note that the Nurse Intern II role is limited to 90 days following your graduation date.
- You need computer literacy for this position.
- You must obtain BLS certification within 14 days of your hire date.

- This position is based in Southaven, Mississippi.
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site role with a rolling term.
