About the role#
This position supports the Mother Baby unit by providing technical assistance and patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. You will help with service functions and communicate with staff, patients, and guests to support quality care outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients and contribute to their care plans.
- Carry out and evaluate care plans as directed by a registered nurse.
- Provide direct patient care and assist the nursing staff.
- Participate in activities to improve health care delivery.
- Build your clinical leadership knowledge.
- Complete assigned goals and take part in ongoing educational activities.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from a registered nursing program while awaiting licensure.
- Computer literacy.
- BLS certification within 14 days of your hire date.
- Note that the Nurse Intern II role is limited to 90 days following your graduation date.
