About the role#
As an Intern-Nurse I, you will work under the direction of registered nurses to support patient care and clinical operations. This role is designed for nursing students to build a practical knowledge base while contributing to patient outcomes in a hospital setting.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients and contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Provide direct patient care and general assistance to the nursing staff.
- Participate in activities that improve health care delivery.
- Build your understanding of clinical leadership.
- Engage in ongoing educational activities and complete assigned goals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time senior student in an approved registered nursing program.
- You must be within one year of your projected graduation date.
- You need to meet or exceed all academic requirements.
- Proficiency with computers.
- You must obtain BLS certification within 14 days of your hire date.

- This position is based in Starkville, Mississippi.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship with rolling start dates.
