About the role#
This Nurse Intern II position focuses on providing technical assistance to a defined group of patients within the Med/Surg unit. You will work under the direction of a registered nurse to support quality patient outcomes, facilitate communication, and assist with service functions.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Contribute to, implement, and evaluate the plan of care as directed.
- Provide direct patient care and general assistance to the nursing staff.
- Participate in educational activities and initiatives designed to improve health care delivery.
- Build your clinical knowledge base and complete assigned professional goals.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from a registered nursing program and currently awaiting licensure.
- Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of your hire date.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Note that individuals remain in this job category for no longer than 90 days following graduation.
