About the role#
As an Intern-Nurse II in the Emergency Department, you will provide technical assistance and patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. You will support the nursing team to help achieve quality patient outcomes and assist with communication for staff, patients, and guests.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients under the guidance of a registered nurse.
- Help develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Provide direct patient care and general assistance to the nursing staff.
- Participate in activities to improve health care delivery.
- Build your clinical leadership knowledge and complete assigned goals.
- Engage in ongoing educational activities.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from a registered nursing program and currently awaiting licensure.
- Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of your hire date.
- Computer literacy.
- Note that the Nurse Intern II role is limited to a period of 90 days following your graduation date.
Location & details#
- Location: Southaven, Mississippi.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
- Hiring is on a rolling basis.
