About the role#
Baptist Health System is seeking an EKG Tech Respiratory Student to join the Respiratory Therapy Department at Baptist Health Floyd. This position involves performing non-invasive cardiovascular testing for patients of all ages while working under general supervision according to established procedures. This is a PRN role with varying shifts and days.
What you'll do#
- Perform non-invasive cardiovascular testing for patients across all age groups.
- Complete clerical tasks and related duties as required.
- Work in accordance with established hospital procedures.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student in a relevant field such as Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or Health Administration.
- BLS certification from an approved course (training will be provided if needed).
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience with non-invasive cardiovascular testing is preferred.
