About the role#
This position is for an EKG Tech Respiratory Student based in the Respiratory Therapy Department at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a PRN role with varying shifts and days, offering an opportunity to work in a regional, non-profit community hospital environment that supports continued education and growth.
What you'll do#
- Perform non-invasive cardiovascular testing for patients of all ages.
- Handle clerical and related administrative duties.
- Work under general supervision following established hospital procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant program, with preference for majors in Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or Health Administration.
- BLS certification from an approved course (training will be provided).
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience with non-invasive cardiovascular testing is preferable.
