About the role#
The Respiratory Therapy Student Knowledge Program provides tuition funding to healthcare students to support them in completing their degree. Participants commit to joining Baptist Health Louisville or Baptist Health La Grange upon graduation. Funding is provided as a forgivable loan, where balances are forgiven as the student meets specific tenure milestones. Generally, recipients are required to work one year for every $10,000 in funding received.
What you'll do#
- Receive financial assistance toward tuition costs for your healthcare degree.
- Fulfill a work commitment at Baptist Health Louisville or Baptist Health La Grange following graduation.
- Maintain employment standards if you are a current Baptist Health employee.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment or acceptance into an applicable degree program (individuals taking prerequisite classes are generally not eligible).
- A transcript showing your current GPA.
- An official acceptance letter into your program.
- Two letters of recommendation, preferably from an employer or clinical instructor.
- A one-page document outlining your planned use of the funds and your career goals after graduation.
