About the role#
The Respiratory Therapy Student Knowledge Program provides tuition assistance to students pursuing a healthcare degree. Participants commit to joining Baptist Health Louisville or Baptist Health La Grange upon graduation. Funding is provided as a forgivable loan, where balances are forgiven as you meet specific tenure milestones. Generally, there is a work requirement of one year for every $10,000 in funding received.
What you'll do#
- Receive financial support to assist with the costs of your healthcare education.
- Fulfill a post-graduation work commitment at Baptist Health Louisville or Baptist Health La Grange.
- Maintain good standing in your academic program and professional conduct.
What you'll need#
- Acceptance or active enrollment in an applicable degree program (Nursing or Public Health).
- Current transcripts showing your GPA.
- Two letters of recommendation, preferably from an employer or clinical instructor.
- A one-page document detailing your intended use of the funds and your career plans after graduation.
- Proof of acceptance into your degree program.
