About the role#
The Surgical Technology Student Knowledge Program provides tuition funding to healthcare students to assist in obtaining a degree. In exchange for this support, participants commit to joining Baptist Health Louisville or Baptist Health La Grange upon graduation. Funding amounts are determined by factors including the student's school, degree program, graduation date, career goals, and demonstrated financial need. Funding is forgiven as the student meets specific tenure milestones, with a general requirement of one year of work for every $10,000 received.
What you'll do#
- Commit to full-time employment at Baptist Health Louisville or Baptist Health La Grange following graduation.
- Submit required documentation, including a Knowledge Program survey form, current academic transcripts, an program acceptance letter, and two letters of recommendation (preferably from an employer or clinical instructor).
- Provide a one-page document detailing your planned use of funds and post-graduation career goals.
What you'll need#
- Current acceptance or active enrollment in an applicable degree program (Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration).
- Note: Individuals currently taking only prerequisite classes are generally not eligible.
- Current Baptist Health employees must be in good standing regarding both performance and attendance.
