About the role#
The Surgical Technology Student Knowledge Program provides tuition assistance to students pursuing a healthcare degree. Participants receive funding to help cover school costs in exchange for a commitment to work at Baptist Health Louisville or Baptist Health La Grange after graduation. Funding amounts vary based on your specific degree program, school, graduation date, career goals, and financial need. Upon graduation, you must fulfill a work requirement of one year for every $10,000 in funding received.
What you'll do#
- Commit to joining the Baptist Health team in Louisville or La Grange after you finish your degree.
- Submit required documentation, including a program survey, current academic transcripts, an official program acceptance letter, and two letters of recommendation from an employer or clinical instructor.
- Provide a one-page document detailing your planned use of the funds and your post-graduation career goals.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment or formal acceptance into an applicable degree program such as Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
- Good standing regarding performance and attendance if you are a current Baptist Health employee.
- Note that students taking only prerequisite classes are not yet eligible for this program.
