Medical Laboratory Student Knowledge Program

About the role#

The Medical Laboratory Student Knowledge Program provides tuition funding to healthcare students to assist in obtaining their degree. Participants commit to joining Baptist Health Louisville or Baptist Health La Grange upon graduation. Funding is forgiven as participants meet specific tenure milestones, which generally include a one-year work requirement for every $10,000 received.

What you'll do#

• Utilize program funding for career development following graduation.
• Fulfill the work commitment at Baptist Health Louisville or Baptist Health La Grange.
• Submit all required application materials, including transcripts, program acceptance letters, and letters of recommendation.
• Provide a one-page document outlining career plans and the intended use of program funding.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment or acceptance in an applicable degree program in Nursing, Public Health, or Pharmaceutical Sciences. Students taking only prerequisite classes are generally not eligible.
• Submission of a current GPA for all current or past college coursework.
• Two letters of recommendation, preferably from an employer or clinical instructor.
• Current Baptist Health employees must maintain good standing regarding performance and attendance.
