About the role#
The Nursing Student Knowledge Program provides tuition assistance to healthcare students. Participants receive funding to support their degree completion in exchange for a commitment to join Baptist Health Louisville or Baptist Health La Grange upon graduation. Funding amounts are determined based on factors including your specific degree program, graduation date, and career goals. The financial support is forgiven as you meet specific tenure milestones after you begin your employment.
What you'll do#
- Commit to a work requirement upon graduation, generally set at one year of service for every $10,000 in funding received.
- Maintain your status as a student in an applicable nursing degree program.
- Fulfill the employment obligation at either Baptist Health Louisville or Baptist Health La Grange.
What you'll need#
- Proof of acceptance or active enrollment in an applicable nursing degree program. Students taking only prerequisite classes are generally not eligible.
- A current transcript showing your GPA.
- Two letters of recommendation, preferably from a clinical instructor or employer.
- A one-page document detailing your planned use of the funds and your post-graduation career goals.
