About the role#
This internship provides students with hands-on experience in a global energy company. You will work on projects, attend team meetings, and receive coaching from a manager and a buddy to help develop your professional skills. This is a paid, full-time position for Winter 2027.
What you'll do#
- Analyze financial statements, budget variances, and performance metrics to provide insights to management.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes through data collection, modeling, and analysis.
- Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Support internal and external audits by gathering requested information.
- Use financial software and spreadsheet applications for analysis and reporting.
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards to all tasks to ensure compliance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a business-related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Fluency in oral and written English with effective communication skills.
- Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
