About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in manufacturing operations. You will work within a global energy company, gaining insight into the systems and practices used to meet customer needs. Throughout the program, you will receive coaching and mentoring to help you develop your professional skillset.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily manufacturing operations, including monitoring equipment and overseeing processes to meet production goals.
- Participate in quality control by inspecting products for defects and ensuring they meet company specifications.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction.
- Collect and analyze data regarding equipment performance and product quality.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve productivity and minimize waste.
- Prepare reports, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Follow all Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, STEM, or Business.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent.
- Fluency in written and oral English with effective communication skills.
- Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
